SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Several people at a San Diego area park were hospitalized Sunday afternoon after a large tree branch fell on them, authorities report.
Footage from the scene shortly after the incident shows an ambulance and officers investigating after a tree branch snapped, falling on two adults and one child playing at Villa La Jolla Park in La Jolla in San Diego.
San Diego Fire Sunday evening confirmed all three people were taken to the hospital. The condition of the adults was immediately unknown, while authorities said the child was taken to the hospital with moderate to severe injuries.
