BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WTOC) – If you plan to spend this Fourth of July weekend on the water, the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources will offer courtesy boating inspections at several landings throughout the state.
Those found to be not in compliance with safety regulations or registration requirements will not be ticketed, but instead given the opportunity to correct the problem before taking your boat out on the water.
In Beaufort County, there will be courtesy inspections on July 4th at Battery Creek Boat Landing, as well as the Lemon Island Boat Ramp on July 6th…
