Dallas man arrested for multiple shooting incidents

DALLAS, Texas — A 35-year-old man was arrested after allegedly firing a gun at a car occupied by a woman and her child, and later during an argument, according to Dallas police. The incidents occurred on June 24, 2025, in two separate locations.

Central Patrol officers responded to the first shooting at approximately 7:40 p.m. in the 900 block of N. Peak Street. Although no injuries were reported, the suspect, identified as Soriya Oeur, was later seen firing a gun during an argument in the 4600 block of Sycamore Street. Assaults detectives and patrol officers connected the two incidents through witness interviews and surveillance footage, according to a press release from the department.

“It’s not about one team or unit working alone; it’s about working together and sharing information,” said Assistant Chief Mark Villarreal. “It’s through this teamwork that we solve crimes faster and keep everyone safer.”…
