There are new ways to protect the most vulnerable members of our community. Those who are wanting to surrender their newborn child have more options now than they have ever had. Hopefully, with the addition of Safe Haven Baby Boxes across the Lubbock area, no one will ever think about abandoning a new born baby
Last year, Lubbock got it’s first Safe Haven Baby Box. It was installed at Fire Station #9 on 50th Street. After that first box was installed, another was installed in Wolfforth at the Fire and EMS Station at 305 Cedar Avenue.
This week, three new Safe Haven Baby Boxes were installed in our area.
