CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Construction has officially commenced on the new Crossroad Health Center. City leaders, project partners, and community members gathered to celebrate the groundbreaking of the $15.6 million project, which aims to transform the former OTR Recreation Center into a state-of-the-art healthcare facility.
“Crossroad was founded in 1992 to serve the community of OTR,” said James Berrens, CEO of Crossroad Health Center, in a media release. “We are proud of our history in OTR, and we are excited to be part of the revitalization of OTR north of Liberty.”
The new 21,500-square-foot facility will address current challenges such as space constraints and outdated functionality. It will expand the number of exam rooms from 14 to 21, increasing patient capacity from 4,000 to 6,000 annually.
