2 women, 1 man identified by Fayetteville police as those killed in Cedar Creek Road crash

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — Police in Fayetteville said Saturday night that a third person had died after a Friday car crash that already left two people dead — and officials identified those who died.

The wreck was reported just after 4:25 p.m. in the 1400 block of Cedar Creek Road near LA Dunham Road, according to a Fayetteville Police Department news release.

Officers told CBS 17 that the driver of a Dodge Charger was traveling north on Cedar Creek Road and a Honda was being driven south when the driver of the Dodge Charger lost control, crossed the center line, and struck the Honda.
