FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – One more humid day in store to start off the last day of June. High temperatures will stay in the upper 80s with a heat index in the 90s, but relief will be on the way. A cold front will cross later today that will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms throughout the day, but then cooler conditions behind the front for midweek.
High temperatures will stay in the low to mid 80s throughout the middle of the week with lower humidity and plenty of sunshine. This will make for a very nice summer start to July before that heat returns in time for the Fourth of July.
