A great way to celebrate America’s Independence Day July 4, 2025, or anytime this week is to spend time in our local botanical gardens and appreciate the freedom we enjoy in America to travel as we wish, to gather as we want and to find beauty, rest and respite in this oasis of nature. Take in the colorful of blossoms that attract the happy pollinators. Rest along the pathway on the benches. Learn new and recognize familiar plants and flowers as you read the plant identification signs. Enjoy a cooler walk through the Japanese Maple Garden across the drive with the new Hosta Garden underneath and view the construction underway on the new Pedestrian Entrance.
