DES MOINES, Iowa — The Des Moines Police Department says it is investigating a shooting on the south side of Des Moines that occurred just before 5 a.m.
According to the department, patrol officers and Des Moines Fire personnel first responders went to the 400 block of East Philip Street on reports of a shooting at an apartment complex just before 5 a.m.
One person seriously injured during Tama County rollover crash
When officers arrived on the scene, they found an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds. Police provided first aid until medics were able to take over once on the scene.
The gunshot wound victim is in critical condition and was transported to UnityPoint – Methodist Medical Center where care is ongoing at this time…
