Little Rock food truck owners fight to beat the heat

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The highest temperature Little Rock has seen so far is 97 degrees, but on a food truck it’s past 100 degrees.

Two food truck owners spoke about how they survive the summer heat, and both say hydration and mental preparedness are the key.

Vivian Phillips is the owner of Wah Gwaan Caribbean Grill, she says it’s not easy to run food trucks during the summer in hot conditions.
