New mandatory lease policy aims to level the playing field for Maryland renters

ROCKVILLE, Md. (7News) — If you rent or plan to rent a place in Maryland, there’s a new Maryland law that directly affects you.

The Tenant’s Bill of Rights is a new mandatory addendum to every lease that aims to protect you and your rights as a leaseholder.
