Kansas woman killed in crash in Missouri

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – A Kansas woman was killed and four other people received minor injuries in a crash involving two SUVs on U.S. Highway 54 in Camden County, Missouri, on Sunday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), an eastbound Subaru Forester, driven by a 60-year-old woman from Bel Aire with another passenger inside, began to skid and crossed the center of the road.

A westbound Chevy Tahoe, driven by a 67-year-old West Point, Nebraska, man with two passengers, tried to avoid the Forester. The two SUVs collided.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The MSHP hasn’t released the name of the Bel Aire woman who was killed. The four other people involved in the crash were taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri…
