Human trafficking suspect pleads no contest to all charges

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man accused of human trafficking — and who prosecutors say was convicted of a similar offense in 2021 — has pleaded no contest to all charges against him.

Keshaun Arturo Brown, 33, faces 12 years in prison and lifetime sex offender registration after pleading no contest to five felonies, among them human trafficking and pimping, prosecutors said.

Brown has been in custody since his arrest in August of last year. His sentencing is set for July 29.
