Columbus police take to social media to find suspects

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — The Columbus Division of Police is reviving a social media campaign in an attempt to get some suspects off the streets.

For the first time since 2022, the department is posting several mugshots of suspects wanted for crimes ranging from robbery to felonious assault.

The campaign, under the name Operation Turn Up The Heat, posted eight mugshots Monday, saying it was Day 1 of the effort.
