Novato Woman Arrested for DUI and Drug Possession, Police Urge Vigilance Against Impaired Driving

Last Saturday, Novato officers arrested a 54-year-old resident, Tammy Manzanilla, on suspicion of driving under the influence. The incident occurred around 8:43 AM, near South Novato Blvd and Sunset Pkwy, after police were tipped off about a potentially intoxicated driver near Redwood Blvd and Delong Ave, according to a social media post by the Novato Police Department.

Upon contacting the driver, Manzanilla, officers noted signs of impairment and proceeded to administer field sobriety tests, which she failed. In the process of searching her car, the officers found suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
