Local fire officials react following Idaho wildfire tragedy
The state’s POST Commission has de-certified Michael Beaupre, formerly of the Belchertown Police Department, Christopher Brunelle, formerly of the Agawam Police Department, and Samuel Gomez-Gonzalez, formerly of the Springfield Police Department.
Beaupre was convicted of secretly recording women, Brunelle was disciplined after allegedly drinking on the job, and Gomez-Gonzalez was fired after he knowingly filed a false report. All three officers can appeal their de-certification.
The POST Commission also suspended the certification of Montague Police Officer Shawna Williams after her arrest last week on assault and battery charges.
