LIVINGSTON, Texas (KLTV) – A man died from shooting himself after a DPS officer used a taser in an attempt to disarm him.
David Towfic Amad, 56, of Channelview, was visiting his son’s gravesite in Livingston when he called authorities just before 10 p.m. on June 23, threatening to kill himself, according to a state report.
