700 drivers stopped, 24 arrested during DUI enforcement in Overland Park

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (KCTV) – Of the hundreds of drivers stopped during a DUI enforcement campaign in Overland Park, dozens were arrested.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says another weekend of traffic enforcement netted several arrests in Overland Park, this time for driving while under the influence.

State Troopers noted that more than 700 drivers were stopped during a DUI Checklane. Of those, 93 were tested for impairment.

In total, law enforcement officials indicated that 24 arrests were made – 11 for driving under the influence, 4 for possession of narcotics and 9 for minors in possession of alcohol…
