LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – High shower and thunderstorm chances continue this afternoon through tonight. As of 4 p.m., we are seeing scattered showers and storm development across most of the southern portion of the viewing area.
Due to numerous outflow boundaries, the exact location and rainfall amounts are tricky to forecast. These outflow boundaries will cause showers and storms to pop up while also causing already existing showers to die down.
What we do know is that some sort of measurable rainfall (at least a trace, or .01) is likely for most of the region through tonight and into Tuesday morning.
