OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The rest of Sunday evening is quiet and cooler with temperatures mainly in the low to mid 80s. Enjoy! Overnight storm chances will bring a returning severe risk that lasts into early Monday morning.
Storm chances return after 2AM and continue through early Monday morning. The highest severe threat is near and S of I-80 mainly for strong wind gusts but some hail is possible too. The greatest chance for storms is done by the Monday AM commute.
We’ll keep a spotty chance for a few afternoon storms in the forecast but we will see a decreasing chance after 12PM. Highs warm to the mid 80s.
We heat up through the week with a return to the low 90s by Wednesday. The forecast stays muggy so each afternoon will feel a handful of degrees warmer thanks to the humidity.
By the Fourth of July we’ll be tracking our next best chance for storms…
