Northrop Grumman Aerospace expansion strengthens Douglas County’s vibrant aerospace industry

On Monday, June 23, Commissioners joined Northrop Grumman leaders and community partners to celebrate the grand opening of the Highfield Integration Facility, an event Commissioner Abe Laydon called a “milestone moment” for both the company and the County. In his remarks, Commissioner Laydon emphasized that the new aerospace hub represents more than economic growth: it reflects intentional investment in local opportunity, education partnerships and workforce development.
