Albany mother and son charged with kidnapping, pouring gasoline on victim

ALBANY — A mother and son — who are business owners in the city — were arraigned Monday on charges they kidnapped, assaulted and poured gasoline on a woman at their north Albany home earlier this month.

Ardra Wilson, 47, and El-Jaquaad Faulkner, 31, appeared before Albany County Court Judge William Little on charges of kidnapping, reckless endangerment and assault.

Prosecutors allege the two abducted a woman on June 22, beat her, poured gasoline on her and threatened to light her on fire. Faulkner had previously been charged with raping the woman. Prosecutors did not lay out the relationship between the three in court…
