MCDOWELL COUNTY, N.C. (WSPA) – Three people are dead and one person has been hospitalized following a crash Monday evening near the McDowell-Rutherford County line.
Around 7:39 p.m., McDowell County officials were dispatched to the crash in the 12000 block of US 221 South. The interstate was closed for nearly three hours as officials investigated the incident.
