Developers to break ground on $900K townhomes on Charlotte Street by year’s end

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — On Monday, June 30, David Steinbergh, a partner representing RCG-Killian Chestnut Residential Properties told News 13 that RCG-Killian has reservations on $900,000 townhomes on the long-vacant lot on Charlotte Street between Chesnut and Baird.

Steinbergh said the company will break ground on the first phase by the end of this year. He said it includes six townhomes.

In 2022, the development partnership demolished 12 historic homes on the site that were more than 100-years-old. Since that time the lot has been vacant, other than a parking lot where people pay to park…
