Dear Editor,
We have reached a boiling point. While classroom teachers, bus drivers, aides, andparaprofessionals suffer pay reductions, layoffs, and unsustainable workloads, the verydepartment responsible for recruitment and retention has been shielded. The district no longerhosts job fairs, once a cornerstone of teacher recruitment. At the same time, overtime is beingeliminated, and hours are cut. How can a school district with such profound personnel deficitscontinue to operate under these conditions?…
