Cleveland-Cliffs Midstate plant officially closes

STEELTON, Pa. (WHTM) — After more than 160 years of operation, the steel plant in Steelton is officially closing today on Monday, June 30.

Since 1866, generations of steelworkers have supported their families while working at the plant currently owned by Cleveland Cliffs located in Steelton, Pa., but that long standing legacy is seemingly coming to an end.
