Entire Carlisle homeless shelter flooded, windows broken after ‘extreme’ rain

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A homeless shelter in Carlisle said it suffered flooding and broken windows after intense rainfall Monday night.

Community CARES—a nonprofit shelter located on 50 W. Penn St.—said in a Facebook post that its entire men and women’s shelter was flooded.
