KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The city of Knoxville announced that a few of its offices will be closed for the Fourth of July.
The first closure is the 311 Center for Service Information, which operates the 311 and 211 phone numbers. Residents who need to report issues, like overgrown lots and abandoned vehicles, to 311 or access 211 services are asked to use the My Knoxville app. Residents can also find social service resources online at EastTN211.communityos.org.
All garbage and recyclable collections will run on a regular schedule…
