Documents and sources: Property assessor employee abruptly quits, gets 90 days’ pay after raising allegations against boss

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A female employee in Knox County Property Assessor Phil Ballard’s Office abruptly quit in April after reporting allegations of inappropriate conduct against Ballard, WBIR has learned.

Sources tell WBIR that Ballard, who took office in September, made comments about her body.
