Lexington woman arrested after child injured in hit-and-run crash

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Lexington woman was arrested on Saturday evening, accused of leaving the scene after a hit-and-run crash left a child injured on Marcellus Drive.

Just before 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 29. authorities said officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Marcellus Drive in response to a hit-and-run crash involving a child pedestrian.

The child was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, per a news release from the Lexington Police Department (LPD).
