Amazon semi-truck flipped and packages scattered after driver fell asleep, authorities say

GREGG COUNTY, Texas (KLTV/Gray News) – An Amazon semi-truck lost control early Monday morning on a Texas roadway, flipping over a concrete barrier and landing upside down in a culvert.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the driver was heading west on Interstate 20 near Rabbit Creek around 2 a.m. That’s when authorities said the driver fell asleep and the truck hit a concrete barrier before falling into a culvert below.

The driver was flown to the hospital by helicopter as a precaution, but was later determined to be OK and released without any injuries…
