On Sunday in Sacramento’s North Area, a man died in a shooting. Police were called to Mahogany Street and North Avenue around 3:45 a.m. for reports of gunfire. When officers arrived, they found an adult man with at least one gunshot wound, as reported by the Sacramento Police Department.
A person was pronounced dead at the scene after life-saving efforts by officers and fire personnel. The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office will release the person’s identity after notifying family.
