Increase in rain chances before July Fourth — Your 9-Day Forecast

Tonight, we’ll have a chance of isolated, hit-or-miss T-showers with gusty winds on the west slopes of the mountains. Tomorrow, I expect the cloud cover to increase as well as the rain chances as the high goes down to 89. Here’s your exclusive 9-Hour Forecast for Tuesday:

TONIGHT:   The skies will be partly cloudy with widely scattered evening showers and t-showers.  These storms will crop up in a randomly scattered pattern, and some individual storms may produce brief, heavy rainfall.  Late evening, the t-showers will taper off leaving partly to mostly cloudy skies.  The low will drop to 71, and SE winds will range from 5-15 mph.  Occasional gusts will be likely as area storms break apart.

FORECAST: Tuesday will be mostly cloudy and a bit cooler with a high of 89.  Humidity levels will be high, and we will see widely scattered showers and t-showers.  Some storms may produce brief, heavy rainfall.  Wednesday will also feel humid with mostly cloudy skies.  Again, we’ll see widely scattered showers and t-showers.  Wednesday’s high: 90.  Thursday will be partly cloudy and hotter with a high of 92.  Expect scattered t-showers with the potential for heavy rainfall. Starting Friday, we’ll see a noticeable decrease in overall humidity for a few days.  Friday is the 4th of July, and we will heat up to 97.  Expect partly cloudy skies, a slightly drier feel, and only a slight chance of isolated late day t-storms.  Saturday will be partly cloudy and 100.  Sunday will be partly cloudy and 98.  Monday will be partly cloudy and 100 with a slight chance of isolated late day t-storms…
