Alleged member of Mexican drug trafficking organization extradited to El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — An alleged member of a Mexican drug trafficking organization was extradited to El Paso following his arrest in Mexico last week, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Texas announced on Tuesday, July 1, in a news release.

According to court documents, from January 2016 through August 2019, Hector Adrian Rojero Ramos, aka Teto, 54, allegedly engaged in a conspiracy to import heroin and fentanyl from Mexico to destinations in Texas, Oklahoma, Illinois, and elsewhere in the U.S.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office said Rojero Ramos was arrested in Mexico on June 25 and made his initial appearance in a federal court in El Paso on June 27…
