GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – Fire trucks pulled up to the WBAY Building in downtown Green Bay Monday morning. It wasn’t an emergency, but it was to meet an urgent need.
One by one, firefighters carried armloads of cereal boxes into the WBAY Lobby for the Toppling Hunger cereal drive on its last day.
The Green Bay Area Professional Firefighters charity donated $500, and one firefighter threw in $100 from his own pocket for a total of $600 worth of cereal for area food pantries…
