Omaha Landmarks Will Shine Purple for World Elder Abuse Awareness Day and Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month

Nebraska is turning purple in recognition of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day on June 15, and Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month.

On June 15, the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge, the Physicians Mutual Building, and the Bridges Trust Building will glow purple in honor of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. The Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge will be lit again on June 22 to mark Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month.
