This summer, high school students involved in Avenue Scholars’ summer Boot Camp program have the opportunity to get hands-on career experience while exploring career possibilities in in-demand fields. In the summer Boot Camps, our high school Scholars learn how to navigate the professional sphere while gaining a deeper understanding of careers in high-demand fields, including:
- Healthcare
- Skilled trades
- Transportation
Scholars are paid for their time and have the opportunity to earn industry-specific certifications as part of the program, including Basic Life Support (BLS) and OSHA certificates…
