Driving under the influence of alcohol will mean risking arrest this holiday weekend as area law enforcement plan strict sobriety enforcement on the roads while also touting other safety measures in advance.
Beginning Wednesday, the Shreveport Police Department will increase its patrol presence to watch for impaired drivers. The push will last through Sunday.
