NIXA, Mo. — Police are investigating an incident where a vehicle crashed into a Nixa restaurant Sunday night.
According to a social media post from the Nixa Police Department (NPD), the car crashed into Piccolo, an Italian restaurant on 107 W. Aldersgate Dr., at approximately 8:30 p.m.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital due to their injuries, according to Nixa Director of Communications Summer Rascoll. The severity of the injuries is unknown at this time.
