Two campers found dead on Isle Royale now identified: what we know

ISLE ROYALE, Mich. (WJMN/WBUP) — The two campers found dead on Isle Royale have been identified.

According to death certificates provided by the Keweenaw County Clerk’s Office, the individuals have been identified as John David Baird, 60, and Bradley Kenneth Baird, 30. The certificates indicate that they were father and son.

WHAT WE KNOW

The death certificates state John and Bradley’s date of death as June 10, 2025 at Isle Royale National Park. According to the documents, both lived in the same Washtenaw County home.
