Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office shares reminder of firework laws

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – The Vanderburgh County Sheriff is reminding the community how to have a safe and legal Independence Day.

Deputies say the law allows you to shoot off fireworks on your property until 11 p.m., but on a legal holiday, which by statute includes every Sunday, you may discharge fireworks up until midnight.
