Fresno Fire warns consequences of illegal fireworks

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) — The Fresno Fire Department is alerting the public about the use of illegal fireworks ahead of the Fourth of July.

Josh Sellers with the Fresno Fire Department said setting off illegal fireworks leads to consequences.

“You can face fines up to $5,000, and that’s including the property owner. So if you are hosting a party, an event where your guests are using that, you can be held responsible for their behavior,” Sellers said…
