Bystander revives child after near-drowning in Clark Center Park

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A bystander revived a child who nearly drowned at Clark Center Park on Bull Bluff Road, an Oak Ridge spokesperson said.

The Oak Ridge Police Department and the Oak Ridge Fire Department responded to the area around 4:36 p.m. Saturday after receiving reports of an unconscious 5-year-old boy. When they arrived, they found the boy awake but lethargic after a bystander performed CPR, ORFD said.
