Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez launches initiative to increase accessibility and efficiency across Miami-Dade
In a bold move aimed at modernizing government services and meeting the real-world needs of residents, Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez has officially announced extended hours of operation across key Tax Collector branch offices. The change, effective immediately, is designed to better serve working families, seniors, and small business owners who have long struggled with limited access during traditional weekday hours.
Extended hours aim to ease the burden on working families
Effective this month, most Miami-Dade Tax Collector offices will now be open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with the exception of the North Dade Justice Center, which will continue operating Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Offices with Saturday hours include:
- Downtown Miami Tax Collector’s Office – 200 NW 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33128
- Miami Central – 3721 NW 7th St, Miami, FL 33126
- Midway Crossings (Suite 82C) – 7795 W Flagler St, Miami, FL 33144
- Florida City – 1448 N Krome Ave, Florida City, FL 33034
- Kendall (coming soon) – 11735 SW 147th Ave, Miami, FL 33196
