PORT ST. LUCIE — A local high school student has so impressed officials at the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County with his leadership and public speaking skills that he’s been selected as Youth of the Year for a second consecutive year.
Enrique Rosario, an incoming junior at Port St. Lucie High School and a member of the Ken Pruitt Unit Boys & Girls Club, first earned the distinction in 2024. He further honed his public speaking skills by addressing the governing boards of Fort Pierce, Port St. Lucie, and St. Lucie County, as well as the St. Lucie County School Board.
This year, St. Lucie County Boys & Girls Clubs CEO Will Armstead introduced Enrique once again to the Port St. Lucie City Council—this time as the 2025 Youth of the Year.
