Folsom police detectives are investigating a possible homicide after a 63-year-old Fair Oaks man died Saturday following a reported altercation at a bar in the city’s historic district.
Folsom officers responded to a medical call at the City Slickers bar on the 700 block of Gold Lake Drive around 3:40 p.m., according to department spokesperson Officer Deidre McAuliff. The incident escalated into a criminal investigation but officials declined to release details on what led to the man’s death, citing an active investigation.
