Kristie Rochelle Johnson, 35, has been found guilty of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and sentenced to five years in prison, probated for seven years, following a violent altercation involving her lover’s wife.
The incident began when the victim, unable to reach her husband by phone, used location tracking to find him at Johnson’s apartment. Upon arrival, the victim encountered her husband and Johnson outside the apartment and confronted them, stating, “That’s my husband.” A fistfight broke out among the three, after which the victim left but soon returned to retrieve her forgotten phone.
When the victim knocked on Johnson’s door to ask for her phone, Johnson stabbed her multiple times, chasing her to her car. The victim sustained stab wounds to her face, shoulder, back, and abdomen. She was found slumped over in the driver’s seat when police arrived. Her husband called 911…
