RAYNE, La. (KLFY) — Vehicle pursuit led to a Rayne man arrested and charged for attempted murder, police said.
On Sunday night, Leon Guidry, 42, of Rayne, encountered a man with his ex-girlfriend in her vehicle on Louisiana Avenue and allegedly attempted to block the vehicle using his Ford F-150 truck, police said.
According to police, the woman and the man fled in the vehicle, but Guidry allegedly pursued them. The vehicle pursuit continued to American Legion Drive near Second Street, where Guidry allegedly forced the victims’ vehicle onto the shoulder in front of the Arceneaux Post 77 and blocked their path…
