ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — For most Americans, lighting fireworks is the most common way to celebrate Independence Day, but those loud explosions bring back memories for veterans that they did not want to remember.
One U.S. Army veteran celebrates by having a backyard barbeque instead of watching fireworks.
