Lack of safety systems led to fatal NW DC building collapse, DOB investigation reveals

WASHINGTON (7News) — 7News was there in December, moments after a building collapsed and killed a construction worker inside.

A copy of the investigative report from the D.C. Department of Buildings (DOB) obtained Tuesday found several factors that potentially contributed to the collapse on 111 V Street, Northwest, that killed Edgar Cifuentes-Lopez.
